Purchasing Manager (Woodland Park, NJ)
Purchasing Manager will lead the purchasing department; develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and practices throughout the company to ensure quality, delivery, and lowest total cost; oversees all business activities to ensure efficiency, profitability, market development, inventory procurement, and review reports of the company’s inventory stock position for procurement; seek methods to create leveraged buying power for price reductions and negotiate and implement supplier agreements confer administer the entire negotiation process with suppliers and wholesalers; plan and draft purchase orders to balance the level of inventory and sales; confer with staff and suppliers to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and resolve problems related to undelivered goods. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and 24 months of experience in a managerial position where one of the main duties involves procurement.
